"Even better than last year! We stayed at this site a year ago, and loved it then, with a wonderful and huge forest only a stones throw away. This year, the site has been further improved with the addition of two very clean loos. No shower (yet) but we use the one in our van anyway. Looking forward to another visit soon."

Super CS site, our 3rd visit and each time stay a bit longer. Great walks from the door into The Kings Forest. Love this site, it's access to miles of walks on your doorstep and feels secluded and remote even though only a few miles from Bury St Edmunds or Thetford. Shh don't tell everyone about it - perfect peace and relaxation. Mike has got it right, friendly but laid back and not intrusive. Basic but adequate facilities which is fine if you have your own. It's definitely on our favourites list.

"Wonderful site - Peaceful, close to the forest - wildlife in abundance. Owner couldn't have been more helpful - We will definitely be back. What a lovely site - the owner met us on arrival and couldn't have been any friendlier or helpful - The site is a lovely green field and fence all around it. Views of the edge of the forest all around. Easy to walk into the forest where you could walk all day and not see a road or even another person on some days.We saw a buzzard and a barn owl - Deers seemingly sometimes come near to the field but we didn't see them this time. Lots of walks in forest but also around nearby villages. We walked every day. Dogs are very welcome and they loved it. We shall definitely be back and will probably bring friends with us next time."

We visited Hall Farm in June, good pitches, fully fenced paddock with gate. slight slope about half way down the paddock. a short walk from the local forest, with good dog walks. 15 mins from Bury St Edmunds. for local shopping. water in the paddock, waste just outside the gate with a toilet block. did not use so unable to comment on them. lovely area and the only sounds are the aircraft going into lakenheath air base. plenty of wildlife to see, a really nice site.
